Hi! I’m Emmy. I am a multi-disciplinary artist & educator with a community-based practice that uses art, crafts, and events as tools for empowerment, self connection, and community building. With over 15 years of teaching experience, a lifelong passion for art, and a drive to be of service to those around me, my community practice and art practice are holistically intertwined.

While I work in various creative mediums, one common thread in my work is community engagement. Whether I am participating as a face painter or workshop instructor, coordinating a community event or designing its promotional materials, or creating colorful murals and installations, I aim to use my artwork to bring joy , empowerment, and connection to the people around me.
